EIGHT NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIP For National Teams (or Club Teams interested in playing for their country!)

Tournament Formula:

• Free shuttle from Girona's Ryanair Airport to the fields on friday night and sunday evening.
• 2 fields, natural grass.
• Comfortable beds accomodation right beside of the fields in the Colony House called "El Collell" (http://www.elcollell.net/)
• Swimming Pool (Think of July in Spain ;-) )
• Private Parties on Friday and Saturday without moving.
• Friday's evening dinner, Saturday's breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast and lunch, all included in the Player Fee.
• Possibility to ride horses or organise other activities on Saturday or Sunday evening.

Player Fee: 90€, all included! Team Fee: 150€

This event is a good chance for the National Teams to keep developing their projects on 2009, when no official events for national teams take place, but as well in the following years, to prepare them: it's planned for every July from now on, so it will be perfect to compete afterwards at official international events usually held at the end of July or at the beginning of August.

More info: Those teams winning the EIGHT NATIONS '09 at each division will save a WILD CARD for the following edition. We will offer them wildest card possible: Invitation for the EIGHT NATIONS '10, FREE TEAM FEE AND 16 PLAYERS' FEE for the Champs at Women division and Open division. There will be also a SPECIAL CARD for those teams winning the Spirit of the Game award, individual for those players composing the teams at '09's edition (further details soon).

Despite not reaching this time the 8 teams per division (Sorry, we tried it so hardly), a high level event and even better field conditions are provided. Hope you can understand the difficulties, feel satisfied with the final formula and enjoy the tournament. We will keep the EIGHT NATIONS brand, as "Eight", as the project will keep on. During all the process, national teams like UK, Germany, Sweden, Italy or Switzerland showed their interest to join us next year, but couldn't organize their teams in a short term (burocracy has stopped us a lot, this time).

But anyway, the event will be enjoyable. Don't forget that those teams winning the EIGHT NATIONS '09 at each division will save a WILD CARD for the following edition.
