The 1st WFDF Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championships commenced on Friday, December 7, 2008. Six mixed division teams from Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan competed in the three day event held in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei. This will also be the location of the 2009 World Games. A full report will be available in the next issue, and will also be posted to the WFDF website. WFDF is committed to increasing the profile of regional championships and will continue to support the growth of the Asia Oceanic Ultimate Championships and the Pan American Ultimate Championships in the future.
