Big fun, pure sport and Spirit in the sand
A unique chance to play teams from all over the world (we are aiming to have teams from every continent, interest from Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Canada, etc.)
The basic steps for getting yourself to the Beach are:
- end of Sept/beginning of Oct: the registration opens and invites are sent out
- interested teams reply to the invite within about 50 days
- middle/end of November: spots are assigned
- December: teams assigned the spot have to pay the team fee to secure the spot
The vast majority of teams putting a bid in get the spot. Some spots are given to 'qualifiers' (i.e. teams which placed well last years), whereas other spots are allotted on a national basis in order to have as many nations represented as possible (this also means that if many teams apply from a given nation to get a bid becomes more difficult).
