I am happy to announce the immediate availability of FFindr in Italian! Thanks to the translation efforts of Romeo, FFindr speaks now eight languages! Two more are in the pipe, want to help working on the Dutch and Polish translation?

To take further advantage of the growing internationalisation, FFindr now automatically adapts its language to match the default language of your browser. Ideally this should save you some time and make your browsing experience more pleasant. In case you encounter unexpected language changes, please report back.

Besides this I spend some time thinking about how to integrate possible ads while contributing to and being consistent with the overall user experience. I also started to actively look for sponsors. If you know of someone who might be interested to sponsor FFindr, please let me know.

  1. Yet another update to make FFindr even more international and usable: an automated country detection allows for a location-aware homepage and a country-coloured logo (available for 29 countries). Did FFindr guess your current location correctly?
  2. yes it works perfectly
