I'm happy to announce that the new ffindr is finally out, as a public beta available at beta.ffindr.com. Feel free to play around with the site, and don't be afraid of breaking something. All data is backed-up, so go ahead and create accounts, events, links, etc. just to see how it feels.

What's new?

• Full redesign
• World map of upcoming Frisbee events
• Global search for events/tournaments and links
• Ultilinks functionality
• Partnership with FFDF (just like with BULA and FrisbeEco)
• Improved interface to publish events/tournaments and links
• Optimised download times
• Usage of reCAPTCHA to help digitise books

What's not yet working, but will be fixed/available for the final release in December?

• Internationalisation (translation has started)
• Sending of confirmation mails
• Browser compatibility (for the moment only Firefox proof)
• Comment option for events/tournaments and links
• Contact form instead of contact person's e-mail
