WINTERFLUG 13 will take place on February 9 and 10, 2012 in and around the Max-Schmeling-Halle. Right in Berlin.

20 teams open and 12 teams women. Format is 5 on 5 continuous-play. Due to the continuous-play we strongly recommend at least 10 players per team.

The gyms are nice, warm and big enough, not dangerous to play in. Seeding worked well with 2 power pools that you could still get into from the lower spots. High overall skill. Basically impossible to park your car at the location and you have to walk for 20min to the hostel/party. It wasn't clear who was actually in charge, so it was difficult to find somebody "official". There was a massage woman on Saturay and there are many changingrooms (with warm water all day long). The hostel was awesome with good breakfest. Food during the day was by "Funk Food" - simply fantastic and with prices only slightly above "selfmade catering", but much better. Really friendly Smoothie girl, too. :) The party was nice, just eating dinner in the disco room a bit weird. No beer race! Definitely one of the best indoor tournaments and a must-go-to if you like indoor Ultimate.

first game was at 15:00, by that time groups A and B have played all their games. the last game was at 20:00. we came from moscow and the moscow time for 15:00 is 18:00 and for 20:00 is 23:00, so it was hard to adjust. but all our games were great (fighting & spirit), gyms are very good, no problems with water on the field.
