Tournament: Whitesmoke XIV, hosted by the University of Notre Dame Ultimate Club (men’s and women’s teams)
Cost: $225 per team
Teams: 16 Open, 8-12 women's
Bid deadline: March 4
In your bid, please include the following:
If there’s any additional information you feel compelled to provide in your bid, please do so (thoughts on Ghostface Killah’s status within the Wu-Tang, Kordell Stewart’s chances for enshrinement in Canton, and other matters of great importance, etc. are encouraged). Teams with the sweetest bids will have the best chance of gaining entrance to one of North-central Indiana’s most prestigious tournaments of the spring.
The cost covers righteous fields, capable EMT, bodacious bagels and bananas, an excellent, prepared-just-for-tournament-participants dinner on Saturday night, and the tournament party, which will feature a live performance by the acclaimed hip hop artists of RhymeShna records (sample tracks available on request).
Per usual Midwestern weather, we expect to have some sunny skies, light winds, and warm temperatures the last weekend in March. This tournament should be a great tune up for Sectionals. Also, scenic South Bend is located pretty much right in the middle of everything, so it shouldn't be too far a drive for any of you Midwestern teams, particularly those in the Great Lakes Region.
