The tournament is inspired by the cult film “Big trouble in Little China” and as our idol Jack Burton (Kurt Russel) says:

"Just remember what ol' Jack Burton does when the earth quakes, the poison arrows fall from the sky, and the pillars of Heaven shake. Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says, 'Give me your best shot. I can take it.'"

*“You just listen to the old Pork Chop Express and take his advice on a dark and stormy night alright. When some wild eyed eight foot maniac smacks the back of your favourite head up against a bar room wall and asks if you have paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker back in the eye and you just remember what old Jack Burton always says at a time like that. ‘Have you paid your dues Jack??? Yes sir, the check is in the mail’”
