This weekend saw 12 teams from across the country travel to Guildford for Surrey's annual Christmas tournament, the Surrey Slingfest. After 7 hard fought games for each team the results were as followed:

- Joke Paws - Plate
- Kent
- Brunel
- Hammer or Gay
- Ugly Ducklings - Spoon
- Surrey Rocksteady
- Surrey Bebop
- Discs at Dawn
The Ugly Ducklings doubled up on trophies by coming top in the Spirit standings as well as winning the spoon. Discs at Dawn put in a tremendous effort at the party with a fine array of colourful costumes and a strong desire to swap their clothes with anyone, as the rules of a Rubix Cube party dictate, and they walked away with the Party award.
The Surrey Slingfest annual indoors tournament is scheduled for the 20th and 21st of December in Guildford, Surrey.
The tournament sees 12 teams play for the covetted title of "Most Christmassy Champions 2008". As is now the requirement for indoors tournaments; there's a party, dressing up and scoobers.
Accommodation is provided by the Surrey Scorpions and the entry fee is £110. This is up on the last couple of years.. We're really sorry. Please address all complaints to Goldman Sachs et al.
