More details on Windmill Windup Website
Windmill Windup #5 is on in 2009
June 12-14 (3 days of games, fri->sun)
Your team is invited to Amsterdam.
If you missed out on previous years or you want to re-live some memories, you will find video + photos + results on our website - http://www.windmillwindup.com/
We'll be using our unique and revolutionary Swiss Draw format as in our previous four years. This format makes the tournament ideal for all levels of competitive teams by matching-up opponents of similar quality early and fairly. So, whether your team wants to use the windup as a springboard to take on the world or just get some early-summer fun, make sure you get to Amsterdam.
Windmill Windup is arguably the premier women’s tournament in Europe. We will continue to foster the women’s division and hope many teams come again in 2009.
Have a look: Windmill Windup Website You know it makes sense.
Hello Fellow Frisbee Players! This was a very serendipitous discovery. I happen to be going to Germany via Amsterdam the weekend of your tournament, and was hoping to look up a long-lost Dutch friend, Remco Marbus. He's played for IceCream Headache, and more recently for the Red Lights. I've lost touch with him since we both lived in Mali. If anyone could help me reconnect with him, I'd be forever in your debt. AND, I'd also be interested to know if any mixed team might be interested in picking up 2 couples who have all played high-level ultimate (USA nationals). Thanks so much for getting back to me!
He there, kindof last notice but you are more than welcome to join a team. Last thing I heard there was a team looking to pick up some players in the mixed division. better to contact Fred Spanjaard (+31-6-11000974) for more information. I happened to train with Remco last night, but RedLights is not playing the Windmill this year. See you around, Frans
