Frisbee tournaments in Turkey / 34 Hat - 3. Beach Ultimate Festival

Turkish Ultimate Scene welcomes you to the third edition of the 34 Hat Beach Ultimate Festival! 15-16 September 2012 Kilyos, Istanbul, Turkey. Hat - Beach - Mixed - All levels

This awesome event will take place in BURC Beach; beach of Boğazici University in Kilyos, outside of Istanbul by the Black Sea, with lots of ultimate on 3 sand fields all day long on Saturday and Sunday. We will also have surprise games; enjoy the sun and sea and party all night long. Accommodation will be at the hotel near the beach. The hotel capacity is up to approximately 90 people and that weekend the capacity will be fully reserved for our tournament. The event welcomes participants from any age, gender and all skill levels and aims to attract people and encourage the spreading of the sports in Turkey. Further information is as follows:

Tournament Format: The tournament is a hat tournament. Teams will be randomly formed from the pool of participants. Each game will last roughly 50 minutes. Players can expect to play a minimum of seven or eight games over the two days.

Accommodation: Hotel check-in, welcome speech, formation of teams and team meetings will all be on 14th September, Friday night. Check-out is on the 16th of September, Sunday afternoon. At the hotel two breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday morning) and two dinners (Friday and Saturday evenings), both buffet, will be served. Lunches and drinks at the party are not covered! Long stay in Istanbul: Before or after the tournament if you wish you can stay more to enjoy fascinating life of Istanbul. However we agreed with the hotel only for Friday & Saturday nights. There are several alternatives in the city center like hostels and hotels in Sultanahmet and Taksim region. You can contact with promoters for local accommodation too and we’re sure there will be volunteers to host guests, too.

Transportation: Timetable for public transportation at Friday from Boğazici University (South Campus – Main Gate) to the beach: 10:00am, 12:30pm 3:00pm, 5:30pm, 8:00pm and 11:00pm. Shuttles can be arranged upon request. Please fill the option box at the registration form. If you are going to come by car, please contact us for detailed description.

Costs: Since the hotel management wants to make things certain before September, there are two registration options: Early registration (Before 27 August 2012): 90 € for non-students and 75 € for students. Late registration (After 27 August 2012): 100 € for non-students and 85 € for students. !! Important Note: Please remember that attendance is limited up to the hotel capacity. Therefore early registration is highly recommended!

The costs cover accommodation expenses stated in the Accommodation tab, participation in the event, entrance to BURC Beach and all the fun you are going to have!!
